Are you proud of me?

Lots of emotions today. I submitted my last assignment to earn my BA in Psychology, with a concentration in mental health and a minor in Sociology. I began this journey in my 20s and picked back up three years ago. Yes, I did it online… while working full time… and acting as the team manager on Stella’s soccer team… and traveling for sports. I did it… A lot of time and energy went into getting here. The learning experience in my 40s versus in my 20s was very different.

I finally get to check that box… a box that will make ZERO difference in my work. I thought I would feel different with having earned a bachelor’s degree… that I was now like “everyone” else… idk… maybe it will be a delayed feeling…but i did it… Ironically this weekend would be Alexxs birthday. I hope I have made him proud.

His birth changed my life in ways I am forever grateful for. I am glad that this weekend will have several causes for celebration and gratitude.

Next, I have been accepted into the MBA program with a concentration in leadership… just keep swimming…
